Mrs. Al Amiry has completed her MS degree from Maryland University, Baltimore County (UMBC), USA, in Emergency Health Services (EHS), and continued to pursue her second masters (MBA- with merit) from Strathclyde Business School, UK later on.
Mrs. Al Amiry has evident diverse experience in both healthcare (as a critical care nurse and later as a paramedic) and academic (as a lecturer) industries- in many countries including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, USA, and UAE. Her collective work experience counts to 17 years overall, during which she gained a great insight into capacities for improving work environment, as well as potent soft skills necessary for excellence. She served as the Head of Department at the former Unit of General Studies (UGS) prior to the restructuring, and co-chaired a strategic committee at AU, among other tasks.
Alaa is a mom of a lovely girl, Nuwar.
