CGMA Recognizes AU's Accounting Program with the Future-Ready Academic Validation Seal and Honors Prof. Ibrahim Elsiddig as a Future-Ready Leader

The Bachelor of Science in Accounting program at Ajman University has been recognized with the CGMA Future-Ready Academic Validation Seal. The validation confirms the program's alignment with the CGMA Professional Qualification's foundational focus on Digital Transformation, Analytics, Sustainability, and Integrated Reporting, demonstrating the program's commitment to preparing RISE2040-ready graduates.

The Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation is the premier global credential for management accountants. Jointly established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), it equips finance professionals with advanced skills in strategic management, corporate finance, and business data analytics.

In addition to the program's recognition, Prof. Ibrahim Elsiddig Ahmed, Professor of Accounting and Finance at Ajman University, was recognized by CGMA as a Future-Ready Leader for his leadership in the Future-Ready Academic Validation Seal Initiative and his commitment to integrating digital and sustainability competencies into the curriculum, a commitment that has been instrumental in preparing students for the evolving professional landscape and the RISE2040 vision. As part of this recognition, Prof. Ibrahim received the Certificate of Appreciation: Future-Ready Leader and the Distinguished "Future-Ready Leader" Digital Badge.

The recognitions reflect Ajman University's strong capacity for professional alignment, particularly within its core advanced modules. The adoption of the AU-RISE pillars by the Accounting program has played a significant role in positioning both the program and its students as future-ready. The program also meets the criteria to progress toward CGMA's Tier 2: Future-Ready Programme status.
