AU, Umm Al-Moumineen Association Organize "Youth Forum"

Ajman University and Umm Al-Moumineen Women's Association organized the "Youth Forum" which was held this year under the slogan "Challenges of Reality Make the Future". The event was attended by Sheikha Jawaher bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Member of the Board of Trustees of the World Youth Business Club, Major Mohammed Bin Hazeem Al Suwaidi, Head of the Community Police Department, and Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi, Dean of Student Affairs at Ajman University.

On this occasion, Dr. Nahla Al Qassimi delivered a speech in which she stressed on the importance of the forum and thanked the sponsors. She touched upon the issues of the youth and the challenges they encounter in light of the rapid social, economic, intellectual and technological transformations of the world.

A group of University staff participated as speakers and commentators in the four sessions of the forum. Majid Al Nuaimi, a student from the College of Humanities and Sciences, participated as a keynote speaker on the first theme of the forum, "Model for Youth in the Media". In the same vein, Dr. Mustafa Al-Tai and student Mohammed Al-Bastaki interacted with the theme and the speakers. In addition, student Me'ad Ali from the College of Mass Communication participated as a keynote speaker in the second theme: "The youth's Standards of Celebrity and their Impact on National Values and Identity”.
