Historian Handhal narrates the Making of the UAE

As part of its monthly cultural forum, and on the occasion of the 45^th UAE National Day, the College of Mass Communication and Humanities, hosted Dr. Falih Handhal, an Iraqi historian and co-author of more than 35 books on the history and culture of the UAE and the region.

Dr. Handhal’s presentation pointed out to the crucial role played by late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan, the mastermind and founder of the United Arab Emirates and initiator of its unparalleled modernization and development. Also part of this event was poet Ahmad Adam Al Manai, winner of the popular “Million’s Poet” reality TV show, who opened and concluded this forum with some of his patriotic poems.
