National Geographic Editor Hosted at Cultural Forum

College of Mass Communication and Humanities organized a cultural forum at Ajman University. Ms. Assad Al Minhali, Arabic Editor at the International Magazine “National Geographic” was hosted by Dr. Hussam Salama, Dean College of Mass Communication and Humanities, Dr. Imaduddin Omar, Head of the Media Department and faculty members, students and other prominent guests.

At the inception of the forum Professor Saad Al Menhali talked about her experience in writing and journalism, she also shed light on the hurdles she faced in her professional tenure. National geographic was launched in the United States in 1888 and since then it has become one of the most respected scientific and professional magazine. It is published in various languages and caters to a spectrum of readers and tastes. The session as followed up by an open discussion between the guest and audience.

Dr. Ibrahim Al Hosni, moderated the session and Dr. Shireen Musa oversaw the media coverage of the event. Dr. Hossam Salama, presented a certificate of appreciation to Ms. Assad in recognition of her valuable contribution to the media.
