Faculty and students in the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy program at Ajman University, attended the Middle East Heart Failure Conference (MEHFC 2024)

On January 26-28, 2024, faculty and students in the MSc in Clinical Pharmacy program at Ajman University, guided by Dr. Sanah Hasan, attended the Middle East Heart Failure Conference (MEHFC 2024) at the Raffles Hotel in Dubai. The conference was organized in collaboration with the Heart Failure Society of America (HFSA), the Heart Failure Association (HFA), and the Middle East Heart Academy (MEHA).

The conference featured state-of-the-art lectures and workshops by international cardiologists and Cardiology Clinical Pharmacists. Furthermore, our master's students and faculty were engaged in practical workshops focused on heart failure pharmacotherapy and case discussions, where they learned directly from experts and medical professionals, offering insights into effective treatment processes and the real-world application of recent research.

The experience was enriching for our students, who found the conference an exceptional venue for professional growth; by engaging with practitioners and fellow researchers, they gained a broader perspective on the complexities of heart disease and its management. Our students returned with enriched knowledge, new skills, and a renewed passion for their field; each student came back to tell a story about a session they attended and present it in the classroom to share their insights and what they have learned with other class members.
