54th National Day Celebration

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) at Ajman University proudly celebrated the 54th UAE National Day at Sheikh Zayed Hall on 20 November 2025, joining the broader university community in commemorating this significant national occasion.

Students, faculty, and staff embraced the spirit of the day by wearing traditional Emirati attire, expressing unity, pride, and a deep appreciation for the UAE’s culture and heritage. The celebration preparations were led by Dr. Zehra Edris,  Mr. Sohaib Khan, and volunteer students whose efforts ensured a vibrant and engaging event.

The COPHS exhibition showcased creative art pieces crafted from materials related to the college’s academic programs, symbolizing the college’s respect for the UAE, its founding fathers, and its rich history. The display highlighted the nation’s unity, cultural identity, and traditions under the theme “Healing in Unity,” the COPHS–AU slogan for this year’s celebration. Visual presentations further emphasized the college’s ongoing commitment to innovation, scientific advancement, and the development of knowledge in the fields of pharmacy and health sciences. Visitors and dignitaries were warmly welcomed with traditional Emirati food and beverages, while interactive conversations introduced them to the UAE’s history, values, and achievements.

Reflecting on the occasion, Prof. Abeer Al Ghananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, stated: “The UAE National Day is a moment of great pride for all who call this nation home. At COPHS, we are honored to celebrate the UAE’s remarkable journey and its visionary leadership. Our participation reflects our commitment to contributing to the nation’s health, education, and scientific advancement.”
