A Joyful Reunion: School of Pharmacy Celebrates Alumni at Inaugural Conference

The School of Pharmacy was delighted to participate in Ajman University’s Inaugural Alumni Conference, a landmark event bringing together graduates from more than two decades. The gathering provided an invaluable opportunity to reconnect with former students who have gone on to excel in various fields, including healthcare, humanitarian services, industry leadership, and academia.

We were pleased to see many familiar faces and welcome several distinguished pharmacy alumni who also contributed as panel speakers. Their shared experiences and professional insights highlighted the far-reaching impact of our graduates and the strength of the school’s academic foundation.

Following the conference, the alumni were invited to visit the School of Pharmacy campus for a guided tour of the college. The tour was proudly led by current pharmacy students, who showcased the college’s learning spaces, specialized instructional facilities, and newly upgraded laboratories. Alumni expressed how impressed they were with the significant advancements in infrastructure, technology, and academic resources. Many noted how remarkable the evolution has been since their own years of study and praised the university’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.

Prof. Abeer AlGhananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, emphasized the importance of such engagements, stating:
“This event marks the beginning of a renewed and strengthened connection with our alumni. Their achievements reflect the quality of their education, and their continued engagement helps us grow as a college. We are proud of their success, and we look forward to creating more opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and community building.”

The Inaugural Alumni Conference represents an exciting starting point for deeper alumni engagement. As we continue to expand this network, the School of Pharmacy remains committed to fostering meaningful relationships with its graduates, celebrating their successes, and creating pathways for future partnerships.

We look forward to many more opportunities to reconnect, collaborate, and celebrate the achievements of our alumni.
