On 1st October, 2025, a delegation from Ajman University's (AU) College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) visited Thumbay University Hospital (TUH) to finalize a strategic partnership, establishing clinical training placements for AU Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students. The delegation, which included Dr. Subish Palaian, Coordinator of the Office of Experiential Learning, and Dr. Deema Hamzeh Mahasneh, Head of the Department of Nursing, met with Dr. Essam Soliman M Atta, Associate Director of Healthcare, Ms. Nancy Mendonca, Chief Nursing Officer, and Ms. Maisoon Al Edwan, Relationship Manager at TUH.
Discussions centered on creating a robust training partnership designed to provide AU BSN students with invaluable hands-on clinical experience at TUH. Both parties agreed to launch the clinical rotations in the Spring 2026 semester, with the partnership to be formalized via a memorandum of understanding.
