Ajman University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Shines at the Second Innovative Hackathon 2025

Ajman University, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences proudly participated in the Second Innovative Hackathon 2025, organized by Emirates Health Services (EHS), marking yet another milestone in its ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence in healthcare education.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, academics, and students from across the UAE to collaborate on forward-thinking solutions to real-world challenges in the health sector. Among the participants, Ajman University stood out with remarkable achievements by both faculty and students.

Dr. Sawsan Shanableh from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and her team secured third place for their innovative research idea, which aimed to enhance healthcare delivery through technology and collaboration. Their solution was praised for its creativity, feasibility, and impact.

In the student category, Wadha Abdullah, a second-year Pharmacy student, and her team impressed judges with their outstanding project, earning second place in the competition. Participants and organisers alike commended her leadership and innovative thinking, showcasing the high calibre of students at Ajman University.

Three students from the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (two from Pharmacy and one from Nursing) participated in the event, demonstrating exceptional teamwork skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Their presence further emphasized the University's commitment to nurturing future healthcare leaders.
