A group of brilliant Pharmacy students shine at the Second International Conference of Pharmacy Students at Sharjah University (ICPS-II)
The students won Multiple Awards across a range of categories for their innovative research, clear presentation skills, and scientific insight.
Noor Raisan, the MSc outstanding student, won the first place in the Clinical Pharmacy Competition for the Graduate students.
Hana Mohamed, the third-year excellent student won the first place in the Pharma Influencer Challenge.
In the category of the Health Awareness Video, the first place was granted to our bright second year students Angela Mary Alexander, Asma Nalakath, Fathimath Najiya and supervised by Ms. Sabrina Ait Gacem for their video “Silent bone killers: pills that steal your bone strength”.
Doaa Rafeq Al Alimi, our third-year dedicated student was awarded the second place in the category of the Best Informative Poster, for her poster “Eco Pharm AI: Smart Pharmaceutical waste Disposal” supervised by Dr. Nihal Ibrahim.
Our senior outstanding students Roaa Mohammed, Yomna Tariq, Taimaa Sufraji, Marym Ramadan and the third year, Hana Mohamed won the Third Place in the Team Based Scientific Competition.
Prof. El Shaimaa Arafa was the coordinator of the college participation with Sharjah Pharmacy College and Dr. Richie Bhandare was an assessor of the undergraduate poster competition.
Prof. Abeer Al Ghananeem, the Dean of the College, congratulates the winners, the participants, their supervisors and praised their solid academic background, innovative research ideas, clear presentation skills, and enthusiasm.
