The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Celebrates World Pharmacists Day

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences hosted a vibrant celebration in honor of World Pharmacists Day, bringing together students, faculty, and members of the university community to recognize the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare.

The celebration featured an engaging booth designed to raise awareness about the essential contributions of pharmacists to patient care and public health. Students from various majors including both medical and non-medical disciplines were invited to participate in interactive quizzes, answer general knowledge questions, and learn more about the contributions of pharmacists to patient care.

To enhance the festive atmosphere, the organizing team distributed thoughtful giveaways and tokens of appreciation, fostering a warm and inclusive environment that encouraged participation and promoted inter-faculty collaboration. The event not only celebrated the profession but also strengthened a shared sense of unity and recognition among attendees.

Through their enthusiastic involvement, students reaffirmed their commitment to raising awareness, encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration, and honoring the impact of pharmacists in advancing community health and well-being.

Prof. Abeer Al-Ghananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Prof. Khaled Assaleh for taking the time to visit the students' booth. She also praised the students for their dedication and passion in supporting patient care and upholding the values of the pharmacy profession.

“It was a joy to celebrate World Pharmacists Day alongside our incredible students and faculty. Their energy and commitment reflect the true spirit of pharmacy,” said Prof. Al-Ghananeem.
