The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) at Ajman University proudly participated in the 14th International Conference on Pharmacy and Medicine (ICPM), organized by a team led by COPHS alumnus Dr. Abdullah Al Kindi. The conference brought together academics, clinicians, researchers, and students from across the region to exchange knowledge and highlight innovation in pharmacy and health sciences.
The college team demonstrated strong and diverse participation, with great achievements:
Mohamed Elmetwaly Elgharib Elkady, Roaa Mohammed Abdullah, Zaineh Aiman, Eman Yamanie, Amira Ashraf Elasar, Walaa Ibrahim Elsheikh, Aya Baradie, Wahbi Ghaouji, Fathimath Najiya Mohammed Jamal Bunder, Asma Nalakath Vattaparambil, Angela Mary Alexander, Alaa Taalab, Elshemaa Mohamed Saif Elnasr, Ghaydaa Ibrahim Fawaz, Shahed Mhd Samer Alhabbal, Resam Nidal Al Chhadeh, Nazanin Ajam, Ahmed Abdalla Gaili, Rama M. Z. Abdalmenem, Dr. Hnin Ei Thu, Yomna Tariq Hamdi, Jon Zaccary Regala, George Zakaria Anwar Nagiub, Ilham Moulhem, and Doaa Rafeq Al Alimi.
Their research covered a wide range of timely and impactful topics, including artificial intelligence in pharmacy education, psychiatric comorbidities in ADHD, PTSD screening tools, cardiometabolic therapies, nanotoxicology, medication safety, interprofessional collaboration, sunscreen safety, and metabolic disorders.
Furthermore, Dr. Hala Obaidi, Dr. Ala Faragallah, and Dr. Haya Yasin participated as invited speakers, reflecting the College’s strong academic engagement and commitment to faculty development.
