Ajman, UAE – August 27, 2026: The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (COPHS) at AU conducted a guest lecture titled “Novel Drug Delivery Systems: Overview, Formulation Considerations, and Challenges” on Thursday, August 27, 2026. The insightful session featured Harsh Chauhan, PhD, MBA, Sr. Director, Alltrna, USA, who shared his expertise and perspectives on the latest advancements in novel drug delivery systems and their growing significance in modern pharmaceutical sciences.

The lecture provided students and faculty members with an overview of emerging drug delivery technologies, while highlighting important formulation considerations, development challenges, and practical aspects influencing the application of innovative drug delivery approaches. The session also offered an opportunity for participants to broaden their understanding of how advances in drug–polymer solubility and miscibility can contribute to the development of more effective and innovative healthcare solutions. Through such expert-led academic engagements, students were able to gain exposure to contemporary developments in the pharmaceutical industry and connect classroom learning with real-world professional perspectives.
