College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences Highlights AI-Enabled HTA Innovation at ISPOR UAE Conference 2026

Prof. Abeer AlGhananeem, Dean of the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences at Ajman University, actively represented the University at the ISPOR UAE Chapter Conference 2026, a leading regional platform that brings together experts, policymakers, and innovators in Health Economics & Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Health Technology Assessment (HTA).

During her participation as a panelist in the session on AI-Enabled HTA Innovation for MENA, Prof. AlGhananeem highlighted how artificial intelligence is reshaping HTA processes by accelerating evidence generation, improving transparency, strengthening predictive analytics, and enhancing governance frameworks. She emphasized the strategic role of the College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences in building research capacity, producing high-quality scientific evidence, and bridging academia with healthcare policy and practice.

Prof. AlGhananeem also stressed the importance of adopting secure and responsible AI tools to support smarter, more sustainable, and value-based healthcare systems that prioritize patient-centered outcomes across the MENA region.
