College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences is proud to celebrate the successful completion of an outbound experiential learning program. In a commitment to fostering global perspectives in healthcare, Layan Ali Abdaullah (first-year B. Pharmacy student) travelled to Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) from December 27, 2025 – January 9, 2026 to complete Introduction Pharmacy Practice Experience I (International Dimension) course. This outbound program was coordinated by Prof. Sai Boddu, Chair of the Internationalization Committee at COPHS, and Dr. Subish Palaian, the course instructor and Coordinator of the Office of Experiential learning at COPHS.
During her placement, Layan engaged in the Hospital Pharmacy Clinical Training rotation across both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings, under the supervision of the clinical preceptor Roa’a Saifan, to gain insights in:
Dean Prof. Abeer AlGhananeem emphasized the value of international exchange programs in enhancing clinical intuition and cultural competency among students.
