Department of Sociology

Introduction

The Bachelor of Sociology and Social Work program was presented to the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA) at the Ministry of Education in 2011 and received initial accreditation that same year. At the end of 2016, the department applied for accreditation renewal. The CAA standards, along with the insights and observations of its international External Review Team, have consistently driven the ongoing development and quality enhancement of the program. These improvements culminated in obtaining full accreditation renewal in March 2019.
