Course Description
This course explores the concept of juveniles and their deviation from the perspective of sociologists, the identification of sound behavior and deviant behavior, the social schools that define deviant behavior, such as the organic, psychology, economic, social, and geographical schools, the social factors that influence the deviation of juveniles, the classification of the types of juveniles, the role of social care in terms of providing care to juveniles, the preventive and therapeutic role of social specialists working at social institutions and that, through the exploration of contemporary scientific concepts pertaining to the practice of social work, as well as the deviation of juveniles and the means for providing care to them and that, through applying the learnt concept in terms of the society of the United Arab Emirates.
