On the 17th of November, 2022, Ms. Sahar Zahran from the Department of Sociology at the College of Humanities and Sciences presented and moderated a three-hour online workshop titled, “University Experiences in Field Training”. The workshop’s aim was to develop the students’ professional skills through the development and improvement in the field training course. Speakers at the workshop included Professor Asma Alarab, Dr. Enaam Yousef from AU, as well as Dr. Mahmoud Alkohaiz , a Professor of Social Work from King Saud University, and Dr. Reham Abu Ghabush, an Assistant Professor from the University of Jordan. The workshop was targeted towards male and female students from AU’s Sociology and Social Work Department. The discussions were lively and the attendees benefitted from them.
