Dr. Ghazi Al-Naymat is a Full Professor of Data Science at the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Ajman University, UAE, where he has also served as the coordinator of the Data Analytics Program since 2020. He earned his Ph.D. in May 2009 from the School of Information Technologies at The University of Sydney, Australia. Before joining Ajman University, Dr. Al-Naymat was the Chair of the Computer Science Department at Princess Sumaya University for Technology (PSUT), Jordan (2017–2019). Throughout his career, he has held various academic and administrative roles, contributing to the development of curricula, research, and program leadership in data science and computer science. Dr. Al-Naymat’s research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning, Big Data, and Data Science. He has published extensively in these areas and continues to supervise and mentor graduate students in cutting-edge data-driven research. He is a member of several professional societies, including the IEEE, the ACM, and the Australian Computer Society ACS, and has received recognition for his contributions to research and academia.
