Course Description

This course explores the characteristics of anthropology, its objective, and historical development. It introduces students to the concepts of this science and that, through focusing on the concepts of culture and society in terms of the life of the individual, who is a person, member of a family, group, and local community in the midst of a larger society that is located within a connected and ever-changing world. This course also provides students with an introductory training on using anthropological research tools as to assist them in terms conducting a short research based upon collecting data and information through observation and sharing.
