Course Description
This course provides a historical and philosophical exploration of scientific knowledge and the role of the development of science across various disciplines, from classical natural philosophy to modern science. Topics include physics, medicine, paradigms, mathematics, and natural philosophy, as well as advancements in the physical, life, and social sciences, from early to modern science. The course also explores how scientific models and theories evolve, the nature of causation, scientific laws and explanations, and ethical issues in science.
