Course Description
This course explores the sociology of education, its origin and development, the educational systems in terms of directing them toward achieving their scientific and applied purposes as well as toward achieving the objectives of the society and its needs, the relation between society and education, in terms of the role of the family and various social institutions with regard to social education, instilling social values and concepts through the social education process, the link between sociology and education in terms of developing the educational culture of individuals and communities, and the impact of the various educational systems on the social system or, in other words, this course studies the educational and pedagogical system from a social perspective.
