It explores its importance, origin, development, objectives, the scientific principles of the modern school, its philosophy, objectives, and characteristics, levels of guidance and counseling provided in terms of social work, preventive program pertaining to the school field, the problems and needs of students, the means and methods of professional intervention pertaining to social work in the school field (individual, group, community), and the obstacles that may hinder the practice of social work in educational establishments.
