The Department of Sociology at 12th Gulf Forum for Social Societies and Associations in the GCC Countries

The faculty members from the Department of Sociology attended the 12th Gulf Forum for Social Societies and Associations in the GCC Countries, which was held on Tuesday morning at Al Qasimia University, under the slogan, “Social Empowerment to promote sustainable development in the GCC”.
It is organized by the Sociological Association of the United Arab Emirates in collaboration with the Gulf Society for Social Sociologists. It is aiming to introduce the concept of social empowerment and its role in promoting sustainable development, and to highlight the outstanding experiences in the areas of social empowerment.
