AU students visited Sharjah museum of Islamic civilization, an important cultural and touristic landmark. The visit was a great opportunity for students from Introduction to Arts course to learn about Islamic Art. Ms. Insaf Chahdoura teacher of visual Arts spoke to students about the richness of history and the aesthetic dissemination and significance of Islamic art by underlining the influence, cultural values, and the way Muslims view the spiritual realm and the universe. Two exchange students participated in the visit and expressed their appreciation for such unique art experiences, specially that they major in Islamic Arabic studies.
