Ajman University Faculty Participate in COIL Project with U.S. Universities

Faculty members from the Department of Languages and Culture at Ajman University actively participated in the Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) project in partnership with Temple University and Portland State University, USA.

As part of this international initiative, the team conducted successful synchronous sessions that connected Ajman University students with peers from the United States, encouraging cross-cultural dialogue and collaborative learning in areas such as literature, communication, and academic writing.

The participating faculty included Dr. Bilal Zakarneh, Dr. Tizreena Ismail, Ms. Hana Mansour, and Ms. Ahood Alrawashdeh. Their involvement reflects the department’s strong commitment to global engagement, innovative teaching methods, and enriching student learning experiences through international collaboration.
