Ajman University proudly joined the COP29-affiliated webinar titled “Climate Solutions Rooted in Mediterranean Food Tradition,” which brought together a distinguished panel of international experts to explore innovative, culturally grounded approaches to global environmental challenges.
The event showcased strong backing for the BEANS Meta Network, led by CIHEAM (International Centre for Advanced Mediterranean Agronomic Studies)—a key organization committed to promoting sustainable agriculture, food security, and climate resilience across the Mediterranean and beyond.
Participants engaged in dynamic discussions that emphasized the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration among policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders. The webinar served as a vital platform to exchange actionable solutions and align global strategies with the objectives of COP29, focusing on scalable, locally adapted responses to pressing climate and sustainability concerns.
