“My Profession… A Psychologist.”

As part of the new student recruitment activities, students from the Department of Psychology participated in the “Career Day in Public Schools” event by presenting an engaging workshop titled “My Profession… A Psychologist.”

The event took place on Monday, November 2, 2025, at Asma bint Al-Nu'man Secondary School.
The workshop was delivered by Nouf Shehab Hassan, a third-year Psychology student, who introduced the attendees to the role of the psychologist and the importance of this profession in promoting the mental health of individuals and society. She also explained the nature of studying psychology and the various career paths available to its graduates in educational, medical, and social institutions.

The activity reflected Ajman University and the College of Humanities and Sciences’ commitment to familiarizing school students with university majors and providing them with a realistic understanding of labor market requirements — in line with the university’s mission to prepare qualified graduates capable of serving and contributing to the development of their communities.

The workshop received remarkable interaction from the students, who expressed great interest in the field of psychology and their eagerness to learn more about this vital human science.
