One of the event’s highlights was a lecture by Dr. Othman Al-Fuqaha, Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology, titled “Community-Based Approaches to Prevent Addiction During Crises.”
Dr. Othman discussed how community engagement, awareness programs, and supportive networks can play a key role in reducing addiction risks—especially during times of social or economic crisis. His session provided valuable insights and practical strategies, receiving great enthusiasm and interaction from students who actively participated in the discussion.
