College of Humanities and Sciences Leads ‘Proud of the UAE’ Community Celebration

Under the leadership of Dean Prof. Fares M. Howari, Ajman University’s College of Humanities and Sciences supported the successful “Proud of the UAE” event, led by the Department of Sociology. The gathering brought together students, alumni, faculty, staff, community members, and guests in a celebration of the UAE’s unity, generosity, heritage, national identity, and shared values.

The event strengthened the connection between the university and the wider community, with students and volunteers playing a central role. Prof. Howari highlighted the importance of universities not only as places of learning, but also as spaces where national identity, community engagement, intergenerational dialogue, and social responsibility can be experienced in meaningful ways.
