Department of Education Hosts Guest Lecture on Inclusive Employment and Empowerment

The Department of Education at Ajman University welcomed Mr. Mohamed Alshalwani, Head of the Recruitment Department at Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services, as a guest speaker for the Master’s-level Special and Inclusive Education course on 10 and 11 October 2026.

The sessions explored inclusive employment practices, community partnerships, and initiatives that empower persons with disabilities to achieve independence and meaningful participation in society. Mr. Alshalwani highlighted the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and community organizations in connecting learning opportunities with employment pathways.

The guest lectures reflect the Department’s commitment to experiential learning and strengthening academia–community partnerships.
