Prof. Fares Howari Contributes to Saudi Environment Week 2026

Prof. Fares M. Howari, Dean of the College of Humanities and Sciences at Ajman University, participated in Environment Week 2026 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, joining regional discussions on how universities can contribute more directly to sustainability and climate resilience. The program brought together academic leaders, policymakers, and researchers and was organized in collaboration with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, UNEP, and higher-education partners.

Prof. Howari contributed to dialogue on Green University frameworks, interdisciplinary sustainability research, project-based learning, and responsible use of technology in addressing environmental and societal challenges. His participation reflected Ajman University’s growing engagement in regional sustainability conversations and its commitment to translating research and education into practical environmental impact.
