Internship familiarizes students with actual working environments. It gives students the opportunity to integrate their knowledge and skills acquired in various courses. The internship also gives the student a feeling of what is involved in working in a practical environment. It also provides an opportunity to develop communication and team-work skills as well as ethical issues relating to the profession.
