Dean's Message

Welcome to the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT). CEIT is one of the largest colleges in Ajman University, established in 1988. The college aims at providing cutting-edge engineering and information technology education in various specialization fields. At CEIT, we provide an educational environment that enables our students to engage in active learning to gain skills and knowledge needed for a successful professional career. In order to prepare well-rounded graduates, we adopt student-centred teaching and learning methodologies focusing on academic rigor as well as hands-on practice using cutting-edge facilities.

At CEIT we strive to provide a vibrant and unique undergraduate and graduate experience through highly advanced and market-oriented programs at bachelor’s and master’s levels. Our programs are accredited by the Ministry of Education in the UAE and some of them are also accredited by ABET.

At the undergraduate level, we offer BSc. programs in Electrical Engineering,  Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. At the graduate level, we offer an MSc.  program in Artificial Intelligence.

To meet the challenges of a fast-changing engineering and information technology job market in today’s knowledge-based economies, we have invested in state-of-the-art laboratory and computing facilities. These facilities are regularly updated to ensure that our students are trained on the most recent and advanced engineering systems/equipment, computing systems and applications. Furthermore, all our programs include internship periods to prepare students for immediate employment upon graduation.
