| Abstract | With the overwhelming growth in population, problems regarding waste control have risen. The issue that we will focus on in our project is the waste management that the Directorate of Public Works (DoPW) face daily. And specifically, the monitoring of information about the weight of waste, and how to be efficient regarding the process of collecting it. Collecting the waste in the city without having accurate information about the total weight collected in the reports increases the difficulty of making both long and short-term decision-making. In our project, we developed an idea that helps collect information about the weight of waste produced by the community, using waste containers equipped with a device that calculates the weight accurately and send it to the DoPW. |
