Abstract

We choose our topic & project to develop and improve the internship in all spectrums, to enhance period of training and make it easier for students and supervisors. In addition, to make training period smooth and positive. During our internship duration, we faced some issues and challenges in the workplace, such as the lack of communication with the academic supervisors, attendance tracking, unrelated repeated tasks, etc.

After studying the problem from all the aspects and doing surveys for other trainees, after analyzing the feedback we locate that they faced the same issues. From which:

  • Missing the Weekly reports
  • Lack of communication between the university supervisor and students
  • Lack of communication between Trainees
  • Unclear Tasks
  • No Attendance system
  • Unclear requirements for the internship project
  • Lacks updates about the final presentation.

All these issues contributed to the new Trainee Management System that we developed to help and support both trainees and supervisors save time and effort. Also, to make the internship more flexible and clearer.
