The AU Student Services mobile application is a holistic digital product that will streamline and modernize the procedure of requesting and obtaining formal university documents at Ajman University. In the age when the digitalization of the educational institution is defining the new reality of the sphere, this application will have been an essential solution to a major issue: it will offer students a convenient and secure means of accessing the necessary academic resources without compromising the quality of authenticity and integrity.

Historically, students requiring official availments like admission documents, enrolment certificates or academic transcripts have been faced with lot of huddles in the form of time loss due to lengthy processes and making physical trips to administrative offices as well as issues on the security and authenticity of their documents. The barrier of these hurdles is erased by the AU Student Services app which provides a mobile-first experience where authenticated students are able to make document requests, monitor their status in real-time and receive protected digital copies directly on their devices.

The system is designed on the basis of the cloud infrastructure provided by Firebase thus utilizing Firestore to store data securely, Firebase Authentication to manage identities, and Firebase Hosting to deliver content reliably. The application uses an advanced document generation framework, which results in PDF files with embedded cryptographic hashes and scannable QR codes, which allow any receiver to immediately check the authenticity of a document using a special verification page.
