The purpose of the project is to enhance the services provided by the transportation department. The project helps students to easily access the transportation system from anywhere and at any time. The key deliverables are basically a website that connects the drivers, students and transportation department and a documentation of the complete project.

In this project, we aim to help the currently registered and the new students interested to register in Ajman University’s transportation system. The system currently allows students to register for a daily pass only. The current system pushes the students to register manually which doesn’t meet with the university's mission in its technical development.

On the other hand, we aim to transform all the hard copies of registration forms and logs into electronic ones, since it will be easy to retrieve the information in an efficient and effective manner.

One of the most important goals of this new IT service that we offer in this business case is that the students will be able to view the bus timings and their first and last points through the schedule announcement box. Through this platform they can know if there might be a delay in the schedule of the buses.
