| Abstract |
This project will introduce us to a new concept in which we can apply the information technology abilities we've learned to cut down on pollution, traffic, and carbon dioxide emissions—and most importantly, on time arrival. The idea behind the project is that students typically rely on their own means of transportation to university; therefore, this application will help both students benefit from each other by offering rides to themselves. Where it can be modified and implemented in the future in a way that is more appropriate for the organization. We did implement the project over Android Studio and using JAVA, which did allow us to go through the journey and display our idea. How the project works? The passenger will be able to request rides from the driver and the driver should be able to accept the ride requests. This will allow students who are traveling to the university at the same time and save time by not having to take public transportation, and the driver will be able to use the money he receives from the requests to pay for fuel. We do think this system should be implemented as Transportation is a very time consuming way to get from point A to B, our scope and aim is to save time for the student as much as we could as Student’s time is the most important thing during their university life journey that is full of exploration. |
