| Abstract |
Wahb, comes from the Arabic word meaning “to give generously,” is a digital platform designed to bridge the gap between individuals that have unexpired medications and those in essential need of them. At its core. Wahb aims to reduce medicine waste, improve public health accessibility and to promote sustainable practices. Every year a significant quantity of unused medicine is wasted, resulting in environmental harm and financial loss. Wahb offers a secure, community-centered system that ensures these valuable resources are safely shared with those in need instead of ending up as waste. Wahb was created to help with the big problem of the expensive and hard to find medicines. It is a simple and also easy to use system where people can donate or request the medicines. Wahb also cares about helping the environment and making a difference in the society. It supports the global goals like good health (SDG 3), better and safer cities (SDG 11) and using the resources in a smart and responsible way (SDG 12). Wahb is not just a donation platform, it is a vision for a healthier and more Caring society. With built in security, a simple interface and a strong sense of community support. Wahb empowers the individuals to participate to a greater cause. From the streamlined verification and the delivery processes to the inclusive design for users with the limited technical skills, every element of Wahb reflects its mission: “Your medicine, their hope.” |
