Course Description
Review of discrete-time signals and systems. Transform-domain representations of signals: Discrete-time Fourier Transform, Fast-Fourier Transform, applications of Z-Transform. Transform-domain representations of LTI systems: Types of transfer functions, stability condition, and test. The frequency response of a Rational Transfer Function. The difference equation and Digital Filtering. Concept of filtering: Finite Impulse Response (FIR) and Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) Filters.
