Types of conventional power generation plants, operation of the steam power plant, hydroelectric power plants. The gas turbines, gas power plants, and combined cycle power plants. Compare different transmission line insulators and determine the string efficiency. Perform calculations for sag and tension in designing a transmission line. Classification and comparison of underground cables.
