During modern times, many people around the world have spread their ideas and influence through the art of public speaking. University education provides an excellent platform for students to develop the art of verbal communication. They do not only need this in their academic life, but also in their social life and future career. Therefore, students should develop the skills of effective communication in order to carry out different functions such as being able to prepare and organize ideas, inform, persuade and speak effectively on various occasions. The delivery must reflect the speaker’s confidence, relaxation, fluency, appropriacy and clarity.
