Open UAE and Emirates NBD Challenge

The College of IT, represented by a team of students headed by Hassan Jarko under the supervision of Dr. Elfadil Abdalla, has participated in the bank application event, which was sponsored by Emirates NBD. The event included participants from many local universities in UAE.    The event took place on Thursday, 29th  November 2018 at Sharjah University. Our team has presented a working prototype titled Spotter Mobile Banking Application that helps people with vision impairment to process their banking transactions using mobile devices. The project is a voice-activated application that assists a blind person in accomplishing various tasks related to his bank account. It was a great project which was adored by the audience.
