Ajman University Professor serves as an editorial review board member with an International Journal in the top 1% in the area of Management Information Systems

Prof. Guangming Cao has been serving as an Editorial Review Board Member with International Journal of Information Management (IJIM) since November 2020. IJIM is a journal ranked 1st in the area of Information Systems and Management and 2nd in the area of Management Information Systems with an impact factor of 14.098. IJIM is rated as Q1, with 99 percentile in Scopus, which indicates IJIM is in the top 1% globally in the subject area. IJIM is also included in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) journal quality list, rated as A*, indicating IJIM is in the top 7% in ABDC journals.

 

Prof. Guangming Cao has also been serving as an Editorial Review Board Member with Journal of Computer Information Systems (JCIS) since June 2021. JCIS is rated as Q1, with 93 percentile in Scopus in the area of Education and Information Systems. In ABDC quality journal list, JCIS is rated as A.

 

Prof. Cao is the head of Digital Transformation Research Center. His research interests mainly include how ICTs such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and social media affect organizational decision-making, capabilities, and performance. He has published over 100 peer reviewed articles, many of which appeared in journals rated as AU-A*, such as European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Management Review, Supply Chain Management, and Production Planning & Control. 

 

His recent article, coauthored with a team of UK professors, entitled “Understanding Managers’ Attitudes and Behavioral Intentions towards Using Artificial Intelligence for Organizational Decision-Making”, was supported by AU research grant and published by Technovation (A*) online on August 1, 2021. Since then the article has been one of the most downloaded Technovation articles.
