This course pertains to the field training students undergo at one of social and social work institutions, as for them to practically apply the scientific methods and knowledge they have acquired over the course of their studies. Students shall undergo field training for no less than eighty hours and that, through abiding by the policies adopted by the social institutions and social work fields of the United Arab Emirates. Training is conducted in terms of studying individual problems through conducting relevant studies, diagnosing the cases and addressing them in an attempt to find relevant solutions, and through applying the methods of social work and that, under the supervision of the tutor of the course and the social specialist working at the relevant social institution. The assessment of the student is conducted by a tripartite committee in accordance with the student’s ability to comprehend the raining process, their ability to solve problems, and the accuracy of their submitted reports.
