AUST Students Celebrate the Spring Festival with Orphan Children

The Sports Supervision Unit in the Department of Student Affairs has organized an open-air fun day for both male and female students, which included a number of games and fun activities.

The event, entitled Spring Festival, was an excellent occasion for students to relax and engage in social interactions with peers and staff. The girls’ fun day included several competitions such as tug of war, basketball, dart and many other fun games, and was met with high turnout of female students who spent an enjoyable day with their friends and colleagues.

The boys’ fun day took place in the football pitch. 14 teams took part in it as they competed in a soap football tournament, tug of war games, and 100-metre race. Some 60 prizes were awarded to both male and female participants.

In addition, the Counseling and Social Activities Unit in the Student Affairs Department organized a reception ceremony for orphan children in coordination with Dar al-Ber charitable organization. This visit, which coincided with the Spring Festival, offered the orphans a chance to have fun and socialize with AUST female students.
