Scouts Camp for Ajman University Students

Department of Student Affairs at Ajman University of Science & Technology organized a Scout Camp for the first rangers scout section formed by the University students. It was held for two days in conjunction with the Sharjah Scout Camp, wherein 30 students from various Colleges and departments enjoyed the adventurous outdoors.

The camp included training programs and lectures on the principles of Scout along with the variety of activities and competitions. The fundamentals of this activity revolves around the traditional knot tying, first aid, camp setup and flag raising. The students enjoyed setting up their tents and spending the night outdoors while enjoying a BBQ party in the beautiful surrounding.

Scouts Leader Adel Karam praised the encouragement and support extended by Ajman University to the students. He stressed that the formation of the first rangers scout club will have great positive impact on the volunteering work in the Northern Emirates.

Dr. Abdul Haq Basheer, Director, Community Services Department at Ajman University thanked all the members involved in the formation of the club and wished them success in all their community endeavors.
