IEEE SS12 Asia Age of Innovation Activity

The College of IT represented by the student Haneen Ayar under the supervision of Dr. Elfadil Abdalla Mohamed, has participated in the IEEE SS12 Asia Age of Innovation activity which was hosted at University of Sharjah.  The IEEE SS12 Competition Age of Innovation is an innovation challenge organized to recognize the best social innovators in Asia Pacific. The event took place on May 30th, 2018. The student participated with a project titled “Med-Photoshoot” which aim to help the users to understand the usage of their medications without medical terms. The student project was shortlisted as a working application that was presented in SS12 Asia, Age of Innovation 2018 Competition. The student has been given a booth for poster presentation and also be presented before a jury to compete among the best project. The project has captured the appreciation of the audience. In the presentation, the project was ranked fourth among all projects which were presented by students from different universities in UAE.
